Vermont Gas chooses SOSMobile for Online Inspection Scheduling
South Burlington, VT — February 1, 2012
Vermont Gas, headquartered in South Burlington, VT, is now offering their customers the ability to schedule their heating system inspections online with SOSMobile and its SOSWeb component. By logging on to the Vermont Gas Web site, customers can easily set up an inspection appointment date and time. SOSWeb's integration to their existing Web site makes the experience seamless.
“Heating system inspections are now required by Vermont
state law for all condos, rentals and public
buildings”, explains Scott Crocker, Service
Manager at Vermont Gas.
“We wanted to make appointment scheduling
as easy as possible for our customers while
minimizing the impact of this regulation on our
Customer Service staff. SOSWeb is helping us do just that.”
Vermont Gas provides natural gas services to 45,000 customers in Northwestern Vermont. They have plans to expand the use of SOSWeb by adding order types to their online scheduling.
